Genesis - Emailing

If you email parents through Genesis, it will keep a log of the time, date, recipient, and subject title. There is also a feature where you can email a summary of the students assignments and grades.

Emailing Through Genesis Follow these steps

Step 1

To email a parent go to a grade book and click on a student’s name.

Step 2

Next click on the contacts tab as seen in the picture below.

Step 3

This will bring you to the page you see below. From here you can click on a parents email address and email right through Genesis. Or as indicated you can send a progress report.
